These new Kona models come with a more ruggedly refined look than previous models, and while they’re not afraid to take on the off-road, these subcompact SUVs were made to own the urban jungle.
Similar to the previous generation, the 2024 Kona will be powered by one of two gas-fed four-cylinder engines. A 147-hp 2.0-liter engine comes standard, but a more powerful 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter engine is optional. The more futuristic exterior styling of the Hyundai Kona extends to the interior, which is designed around two 12.3-inch displays located on the dashboard. 2024 Kona models are more spacious than the last-generation, thanks in large part to a longer wheelbase and slimmer front seat backs that free up more space for rear-seat riders.
